MRE - Humanity's greatest creation
MRE or Meal Ready to Eat is perhaps the greatest use of humanites collective intellegence to date. I combines fission and food. For those of you unfamiliar with MREs the military issues a bag that has some freezed dried food in it. All you have to do is open the bag, pull out the meal (which could be anything from Chicken and rice to Hamburger patty), rip open the "oven" which is another bag with a hydrogen pack inside put some water in the oven slide the meal bag into the oven bag, then the oven gets about 30 gazillion degrees and you wait about 2 or 3 minutes and your food is hot. You take your food out of the oven rip the top off and dig in.
It's good for the times when I don't want to go to the chow hall.

Dude, I love MREs! A friend brought six of them over to my place back in like '96. Only two were the 'new ones' with the ovens. So a bunch of sat in a circle in the living room and ate em all! I couldn't get enough.
Also, he said the Army guys had recipes for combining stuff, like crumbling up their saltines, and mixing them with tabasco or pudding or something. You gotta find some of those MRE recipes.
Be sure and bring some back with you!
